SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- A Delmar man convicted of fatally shooting another man and shooting at the victim's son has been sentenced to 75 years in prison.
Thirty-year-old Eddie Lee Savage Jr. was convicted in February of second-degree murder of 48-year-old Kenneth Sparks of Hurlock. He was sentenced Thursday in Wicomico County Circuit Court.
Authorities say Savage shot Kenneth Sparks in the face after an argument July 7 in a driveway outside Savage's home. Prosecutors say Savage also shot at Kenneth Sparks' adult son, Joshua Sparks.

Justice has been served!
10:41, with all due respect, there will never be "justice" in this case or any other case in which someone takes the life of another.
Now he gets to live on the dole for the rest of his life....
Another part that is not justice!
He should be on a hard labor chain-gang with his wages going to pay for his incarceration - anything over that goes to the family of the person he killed.
Should have been sentenced LIFE, just as he evilly chose to sentence Sparks.
11:06 - should have been sentenced to DEATH as he chose to sentence Sparks.
1:02 Should have never made it to trial.
Eric Holder has changed a lot in the prison system and will change a lot more before he's gone.Be surprised if Eddie spends 10 years in prison.

Life is nothing--they are eligible for parole after only 15 years...now if it is life without parole, that is different.
Now, we as Tax payers will take care of all of Eddie Lee Savage's kids for the next 20 yrs or longer
bring back public hangings
