Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson’s Wife Accuses Him Of Trying To Kill Her, Admits Long-Term Abuse

Following last month’s domestic disturbance involving U.S. Rep.Alan Grayson, D-Fla., his wife told detectives the bombastic lawmaker had been hitting her “for years” and was trying to kill her.

A copy of Lolita Grayson‘s interview with local detectives after the incident in March was obtained by WFTV, documenting the allegations of spousal abuse.

“I’m done. My husband has always been hitting me for years,” she told police, according to the local ABC affiliate. “He’s been hitting me a lot. I’ve been so quiet for years.”

Mrs. Grayson also accused her husband of cheating on her, saying she threw him out in December when she could no longer tolerate his actions, according to WFTV.
