Don't get me wrong here, losing a business is losing a business - It's not a good thing for our area. But I have always wondered how these little used car lots stay in business. When I drive by I always see over priced, poor quality cars on their lots.
Do you mean the Car Store would move to that location or open a second? If it just moves there's another empty lot in front of DPL. I would guess where they are is corporate city limits.
3:09 - That would be a third location for The Car Store. They certainly would not leave the location by DP&L. How many locations does Sherwood have in Salisbury? How about Pohanka? On the shore how many does Hertrich or Preston or Price, or Burton have?
Actually, I think it's a shame that they closed. The folks ran a good shop, with good vehicles. I imagine their being from the Western Shore they had a tough time adapting.
Does anyone know what they are building in between Staples and the Barnes & Noble parking lot. Every time I ask this question I get Dunkin Donuts as the answer. That is incorrect. Dunkin Donuts is going in the newly constructed building next to Sam's Club gas pumps. The building I am talking about is where Country Sunrooms used to be.
Do we really need the number of car dealers, banks, convenience stores, etc., it this area that we have now?
Public selection/choice and competition are good but don't you think both are overdone in this area? A manufacturing plant or something in that nature, that employed hundreds, and actually made something would be better than the few dozen of jobs these types of businesses offer.
11:52 who cares how many lots they occupy as long as they pay taxes and provide jobs? There are millions of square foot sitting empty to open anything you like in this area.

Doubt this had anything to do with "obama" despite the continuous rantings. This place tried to sell me a crap car requiring money down for a high interest rate. I turned around and bought a brand new car, with no money down, and a significantly lower interest rate from another dealer. Pretty sure my story was repeated by quite a few other customers. Which is why you see the result now. Unfortunately I did have a friend purchase from them and all he got was repair headaches within 1.5 year and a much higher interest rate.

The Car Store will open The Truck Store there. It will be their 3rd location
Delmar auto outlet was a rip off anyway.
I'm sure Obama is to blame.
Obama does suck.
@3:46 I know where your talking about and actually there are 2 new constructions going on there, but I heard that a hooters was going in one of them.

Evidently you don't care.
