That's what happens when you don't have enough jobs to fill the void. People will exhort to just about anything to 'bring the bacon home'.

Um...why is that...bad politicans be my guess...had plenty of opportunties..but only seek more HUD housing (future slums)..and .give aways to freeloaders..

Detroitbury - another shining example of rule by democrats.

Time to rehire? Sure lets hire the drunks again. We were number 4 before Duncan. This blog is only out to HIDE the truth. 4 to 52 no other City did that in 3 years.

7:38, #4 was based on a different set of numbers per capita.

Looks like a most of these are in areas controlled by Democrats at the lower levels - some are also controlled by Democrats at higher levels. The pattern appears to be obvious though - a downward spiral of continued voting for handouts....coupled by abandonment by the ones refusing to support the handouts with their tax dollars....

We're well on our way!

Got to live up to our new name, da 'bury.

Using just Neighborhood Scout, Salisbury is now #53, but was #39 in 2013 and was #22 in 2012!

I'd like to see us off that list completely, but at least it shows progress. Two years ago, top 25. One year ago, second 25. Today, third 25. Maybe in a year or two, off the list.

The only people claiming "it was a different set of numbers" were drunk, asleep, and in charge.

10:48, ditto. The thought of Webster coming back would give me nightmares. Nothing got better with him.

When and if I move the entire dynamic will change.

Well of course it was based on a different numbers per capita. The population has changed! As has crime!

It was neighborhoodcout.com that listed us at #4 and they now list us at #53. Mind you the overall crime rate on their list actually declined by about 1.5% and they accounted for population growth in the City. If anything, it shows that #4 was actually inflated. Which it was! 2006 was not a year to remember in terms of crime in Salisbury. That was literally the most dangerous year on record.

The problem nobody wants to admit is that the overwhelming crime is committed by black males. We also have a huge gang problem the police ,city and county leaders need to create an unfriendly environment for them to reside here.
