If you’re wanted by the police, it’s probably not smart to post a police department’s “wanted” photo of yourself on your Facebook profile.
But, that’s just what Anthony James Lescowitch apparently did. And he was captured 45 minutes later, Freeland police announced, fittingly enough, on the department’s Facebook page.
The Freeland Police Department posted a photo of Lescowitch at 9:19 p.m. Monday, noting that Lescowitch, 35, was wanted for aggravated assault and numerous other charges. The post asked that anyone knowing Lescowitch’s whereabouts to call police at 570-636-0111 or 911.
Less than two hours later, Freeland police posted another photo of Lescowitch, this time with the caption: “CAPTURED!!!!!! SHARES OUR STATUS ON FACEBOOK ABOUT HIMSELF, CAPTURED 45 MINUTES LATER.”

Don't think for a minute someone turned him in.. This just proves that there is no such thing as being "anonymous" on the internet. The gov't can ID you & your location using your computer OR telephone.
10:35 try reading the article --the police baited him with a pretty face on Facebook--
I guess they blew that method to end future searches for other losers by advertising their success..
Not likely, 11:06. The stupid and the arrogant will always be with us.
His Baby-Momma is ranting about how this going viral is affecting his daughter, because the kid is on Facebook and can see the posts/shares/comments on this story. I bet he wasn't worried about his daughter seeing the "wanted" post for her daddy when she shared it on his own Facebook page.
I wonder what kind of "parallel construction" will be created to explain how they nabbed him? I'm with 10:35 on this one.
Genius!
