Andrew Harris, a school teacher at the Glacier Creek Middle School, was fired for looking at porn on school grounds and trading it with others. The local teachers union was able to get Harris reinstated with $200,000 dollars in back pay. The union spent about $700,000 dollars on legal fees paid for by the taxpayer.

What a messed up joke. There is a better article that explains it in more detail. There were 30 school employees involved. Some with school computers at home, and some accessing porn from the school.
The issue is he was the only one fired, because he was accessing and sending porn from the school while on school time, so his level of involvement was higher than everyone else s.
This is part of the issue that Scott Walker is trying to correct by union busting. The fact that the taxpayers spent a million dollars fighting this totally inappropriate behavior only to lose is... mind boggling.
So he is now working in a different school in the same district. I would pull my kid out of his class.
He is an adult, what's the big deal? I see people looking at porn at restaurant's all the time on their Iphones, and ipads, I guess these guys like to watch it when they are eating lunch.
4:21 He is an adult, and any adult can look at porn as they desire. But, to do it in a Middle School, AT the school, on school time is unacceptable. What if he forgets to close it, and your 6th grader sees it? Do you feel comfortable telling your 6th grader what "anal fisting" is, and why their teacher would be looking at such a thing? If he were doing it at home, or off school grounds, I have no problem with it.
What's the big deal??? He is doing this while in school teaching children! Seriously! You obviously have no children!

I said I did not have an issue with porn, but I have an issue with where he was watching it.
Do it in your home, not in your classroom.
