GOVERNOR O'MALLEY ISSUES STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF DR. ROY H. BROWN

ANNAPOLIS, MD (January 31, 2014) -- Governor O'Malley issued the following statement today on the passing of Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown's father, Dr. Roy H. Brown:

“I want to express my deep sorrow and extend my family's sympathies to Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown and his entire family on the passing of Dr. Roy H. Brown. Dr. Brown spent his life in medicine serving the most vulnerable members of his community -- honoring their individual dignity with compassionate and professional care.

Our family, along with the people throughout Maryland offer our thoughts, prayers and support to Anthony and the Brown family during this difficult time.”
