They didn't catch the fort hood shooter and he was right under their nose!
They were warned by the Russians about the potential for the Boston bombings and did nothing...
But now, local police can stop someone that has a registered firearm just to see if they are carrying it illegally and really jam you up if you even have it in your car.
Something is seriously wrong and the police, as Obama said today, some your friends and neighbors, are lying hypocrites of the police state.
Treat them accordingly.
I agree with 11:27,but having knowledge of these issues and preventative enforcement are 2 totally different things.The technology to determine threats vs the ability to avert threats via actually enforcement is lopsided at a 80% to 20% level.How stupid is that? What possible reason could anyone have to know about something yet be powerless to stop it? None.
