President’s proposal today is too little too late
Washington, D.C. - Over 73,000 Marylanders have seen their health insurance plans terminated because of the President’s health reform law. Now the President is unilaterally changing the law to try to allow them to keep their plan for an additional year. If the insurance companies in Maryland who cancelled policies decide to extend them, Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. is calling on Maryland Insurance Commissioner Therese M. Goldsmith to expedite the review of those extensions to ensure individuals will be able to keep their plans on January 1st.
Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. released the following statement:
“The President promised Americans that if they liked their plan they could keep it. The President’s proposal today is too little too late, but now the Maryland Insurance Commissioner must expedite the review of any policy extensions offered so that those who have plans and like them can keep them. I have heard from many constituents who liked their policies, but are losing them and can’t afford the dramatically higher prices of plans offered in the exchange. The Maryland Insurance Commissioner must do all she can to prevent this harm from occurring.”

It's only for a year, Andy, and the insurance companies can't change their business plans on a goofball's whim. They are running REAL business that needs to answer to a REAL bottom line, not to a president's whim and wonder of what might be.

I would be more impressed with Harris or any member who fought hard to impeach Obama. I don't mean talk about ii I mean do it.
Out of 100 seats in the Senate, 55 of those are occupied by Democ-rats who are in on it. You know, the crooks like Mikulski & Cardin from MD, and Coons & Carper from DE, led by slimeball Harry Reed. So, unless We the People throw theze bums out, nothing will be done about Barry O.
Andy, let it crash. It's the best solution. Extending the crash for a year just extends the pain. Today is a good day to let it die.
Ahhhh....the good cop/bad cop routine.....
And everyone is falling for it, too.
I sent Andy Harris an email today asking for a law similar to the one the state of Colorado just passed.
It calls for training of police officers to learn canine behavior and how to deal with them in a non-violent manner, instead of killing them.
I urge everyone to contact him or your own representative to request this law to keep our pets safe from police.
