More than 1,400 victims of a pediatrician who sexually abused young children are learning of the amount of money they will receive as part of a $122 million settlement of a lawsuit against Beebe Medical Center, the Medical Society of Delaware and five doctors.
Chase Brockstedt and his law firm represented about 100 of the victims, and he tells our sister station Delaware 105.9 about the possible timetable for payments.
"Once the appeal period and all appeals have been exhausted, then we will have a sort of final categorization of all 1,400 claimants and a corresponding dollar figure to go with that categorization, says Brockstedt.

Apparently I am the only one reading this who has a clue. The court certainly didn't,nor did the jury. What we have here is a bandwagon. The same happened in the Sandusky case when a unreal # of victims surfaced, except this case deals with court exploitation of children who will do,say,or agree with anything their parents tell them.
12:37 Agreed... all for MONEY. Money won't give your child their life back. Lots of the children (who were truly abused) will go on to be messed up due to their exploitation.
The Sandusky mess happened with full knowledge of those in charge.
How many at Beebe Medical Center knew but looked the other way?
