I've noticed in all the articles written about Chris Adams they only state he is president of Value Carpet One. Isn't it funny they don't list the other businesses run by that same company. They don't list S. Lee Smith, Jr. Inc which owns rental properties you wouldn't let your dogs live in. They also have a construction company named Atlas. Lord only knows how many other things they have their hands in. They sub all of their work out and pay low rates to the subs. By the way, some of the subs, you wouldn't let build a dog house.
If you tie the two businesses together you watch how many people have nothing good to say about their rental properties. I know he has a house or two on Hudson Dr. I'll try to find out where some of the others are located.

This isn't news, 9:23, it's a rumor spread by someone who chooses to remain anonymous while slandering others. I've met Chris. He's a great guy who is very well qualified for the job of state delegate.
Any business owner will tell you that there's always a disgruntled customer or dissatisfied former employee that will spread malicious rumors, especially anonymously. If someone has a real beef with Chris, why don't they come forward with their name.
He doesn't keep his own house in Hebron much better.
So this is another Chris Adams with rentals? I think the other one is a female.
I'm not disgruntled and I can't use my name because I have to live somewhere. If I use my name he would kick me out on the streets then make it so I can't rent from anyone. He probably is a nice guy, unless you want him to replace bathroom floors that have rotted through. Why doesn't the county have code compliance like the city does? At least there would be some place to lodge a formal complaint. Before you tell me to find some place else to live, I have been looking but can't find anything in a decent neighborhood where the kids can play safely that I can afford.
12:51-Rotting floors threatens not only the safety but the health of tenants. In Maryland you can ask the court for rent escrow in which your monthly rent payments go into an account until the landlord fixes the problem. Courts sometimes even reduce the rent. If repairs aren't made in 6 months, tenants can ask the court for the money held in escrow and more often then not it is awarded to them. Look online at the MD Attorney General's website-keywords landlord/tenant for more info. If you fear retaliation let it be known right away if/when you decide to take action. There are laws in MD against that also.

Thanks for the response Chris. Only you would say you are qualified to run for a state job because no one else would come to the conclusion because you "met" someone. Idiot!
Chris is a stand up guy. He has helped mant people including myself with fantastic deals on carport, tile, etc when I had trouble with the cost.
Also, not sure where you get posting about his house in Hebron. Been there a few times and it is gorgeous.
Worked hard for what he's got. Some are just jealous.
