Prosecutors in Baltimore say a grand jury has indicted 48 alleged members and associates of the Black Guerilla Family and charged them in connection with violence and drug trafficking.
The Baltimore City State's Attorney's office announced the indictments Thursday. Prosecutors say 38 defendants are charged with taking part in a gang conspiracy. Seven are charged with first-degree murder for allegedly killing eight victims. Other charges include assault, robbery and gun and drug charges.
