Date of Incident: 17 October 2013
Location: Pittsville Road at Bob Smith Road, Pittsville, MD
Narrative: On 17 October 2013 at 11:54 PM, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported single vehicle collision on Pittsville Road in the area of Bob Smith Road. Upon arrival, the deputies located a 1993 Toyota that had left the roadway and collided with a tree. Due to extensive damage on the vehicle, fire personnel had to extricate the operator from the vehicle.
The operator, Brittany Karen Ardis, 18 years old from Delmar, MD, was transported to PRMC where she was subsequently pronounced deceased.
At this time, the collision is currently still under investigation by the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Accident Reconstruction Team.

So, so sad. The last name sounds familiar. Does anyone know if she has a brother?
She was a senior at WI Hi and a student in the CTE program at Parkside.
