The Beltway Lies Of The Obamacare War

Pat Buchanan: It's the intransigence of 'Harry and Barry' that is leading to shutdown

“In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies,” said Winston Churchill.

What is the truth behind the beltway lies about these crazy Republicans crashing our government?

Twice in the last week House Republicans have voted unanimously to fund the U.S. government.

If national polls are to be believed, those House Republicans are doing exactly what America wants. A majority of Americans oppose a government shutdown. And a majority oppose Obamacare.

Who, then, is preventing the government from being funded?

Harry Reid and Barack Obama. Neither will accept any continuing resolution that does not contain Obamacare. Both will shut down this city rather than accept any such CR.

From the Balto Sun-

"Young healthy people need to buy into the system to help balance the cost of caring for an older population with more health problems who are likely to sign up with less prodding.
"We need a diverse group of people in plans to keep rates reasonable," said Kathy Westcoat, CEO and president of Health Care Access Maryland, a group helping people enroll in health plans. "If all the sick people sign up and not the healthy people, it could affect rates."

Convincing young people could take work."

Not only on the federal site but every single state site people are getting the same error messages. Now in NY one article is saying they are going to investigate to see if some GOP shenanigans are going on like hacking-LOL.
It is so obvious these so called glitches are on purpose because no one is signing up and they don't want to admit what a failure this is.

Young people aren't going to go for this and all the suckers that traded in their private plans for these horrible plans offered by these exchanges are going to see their premiums sky rocket.
I can't wait to laugh in their faces and tell them 'told you so.'

I saw a similar comment on the facebook page for Obamacare. They said people were just going to the site to clog it to try to get it to crash. That would require some type of planning and something that large would have been leaked somewhere. They are always trying to blame others for their failure.

People are fuming from what I understand. They are finding out that they are going to have to pay upwards of $5000 out of pocket before the insurance even kicks in for the lowest cost plans. bronze as they are referred to. I've even heard that the people on the help lines are getting bitched at so bad they then pretend they can't hear the person on the other end and are hanging up.
Also the few that did sign up the majority are appealing that they aren't eligible for subsidies which has cause a problem that wasn't thought of beforehand, so the so called glitches are fake until they can figure out what to do now.

Upwards of $14,000 according to some on the official healthcare facebook page. Now these are the people who can ill afford it and are looking into the least expensive plans to begin with.
