Publishers Notes: "This type of file can harm your computer" is the message I get every time I look at the City's Website. Obviously the Mayor and his administration don't want people to click on more. I for one will not.
Secondly, I was on the City's Website yesterday and this was NOT posted. How they can claim the press release came out on the 25th is beyond me.

Censorship - that is the way Salisbury/Wicomico choose to do business.
When will our people wake-up? They cherry pick their own data to twist and concoct their own agenda.
I have seen it dozens of times by Salisbury and Wicomico Co. officials.
That is a standard message when downloading files from the internet.
Sometimes it comes from settings in your own PC.

The City of Salisbury Department of Public Works responded to a Sanitary Sewer Overflow on
Center Drive in Salisbury near the Center at Salisbury. The overflow was contained in the storm
water basin and did not make it to a waterway and threaten aquatic life or a water supply. The
wastewater spill will be diluted with the water in the pond and will biologically breakdown as it
filters through the soil.
The Water and Sewer Branch used a vacuum truck to clear the grease blockage, which was in a
sewer main on East Naylor Mill Drive. Work was completed today, Friday, October 25, 2013 by
4:00 pm. For any questions, please contact Public Works Water & Sewer Branch at 410-548-
3105.
It is a standard message on suspicious files and sites, not on every file or site.

How do I stop Chrome from warning me about saving a PDF? I don't want to have to click OK just to save a PDF.
Answer:
There are 2 reasons google made this change. The first is that pdf's are a vector for attacks on computers. This is mostly an issue on Windows, but it is certainly the case. The second reason is that google recently added their own in-browser pdf viewer that is more secure than adobe's. By making it more difficult to use other pdf viewers, they drive users to their own product. There is no way to turn off the warning.
So as I mentioned earlier in my 8:32 AM post, a setting in your computer (brought on by Chrome) is bringing up the warning.

When ever I download a PDF, in the bottom of Chrome I a seeing a pop up saying PDF is harmful would you like to save it , discard .. Is there way I can allow PDF to get downloaded with out prompting
Answer:
You can update to a newer Chrome or Chromium which has a built-in PDF viewer which avoids the problem entirely.
Or you can update your PDF plugin. You did not say which one you used but Chrome shows this dialog when it knows your plugin is outdated.
In either case, you need something newer. I recommend updating Chrome because that includes lots of other fixes and makes it more efficient to see PDF files. For more complex PDFs, you will still have the option to open it into a native PDF application.
