Michael Steele tells WBAL News he has decided not to run for governor.
The former Maryland Lt. Governor tells WBAL's Scott Wykoff he spent the summer considering a run and has now decided that he won't run for governor in 2012.
"I took most of the summer and right up until about Labor Day or so to take a look at the opportunity to run with an open seat here in Maryland and with the dynamics of the economy here in the state and just the general opportunity to really get back into public service," Steele told WBAL's Scott Wykoff. "After looking at it and sort of evaluating the things that I am doing, some opportunities that I have under taken that are being to take off a little bit, I decided not to pursue it at this time."

it would be kind of hard to run for governor in 2012.
He's done missed that boat.
He's already disgraced himself nationally. No thanks.
My prediction! For what it is worth. Caroline Kennedy is getting some education under her belt ...doing her required public service... and will be running for the 1st female president before you know it. Think about it... all the loyal Dems will certainly vote for a Kennedy.
