When I worked there, about a decade ago, the Director of Radiology kissed (and still does, from what I'm told) Piggy's butt 24/7 so she could ditch Radiology and become a VP of something. How has that worked out for you Mary Lou?

Well then, why can't you vp's run the hospital? On this blog too much?
Only one on the list worth a damn is Dr. Silvia. The rest of the group walk the halls in their capri pants with matching ankle braclets and tattoos oohing and awing over some white board called "Key Performance Indicators".They point and ooh/awe.The only thing on the boards goes up in a positive manner is nothing. Key projects are off by almost a year. Statistics you expect to go up(patient satisfaction) stay stagnant or go down. To watch the meetings is like watching a circle jerk with the orgasmic event coming at the meeting end. If you get a chance to see this bunch in action please do so, It's better than a play, movie.While not at the magnitude of a Hollywood production, it will bring you to your feet.
Buy the way the Washington Dc office of the international Brotherhood of Teamsters is planning on having organizational meeting by thanksgiving for the sold pupose of wanting all servive staff(non-rn) the chance to vote. This will be a highly monitored canvas and if need be pledge card and the process will be closely monitored for fraud.
