UPS To Drop 15,000 Spouses From Insurance, Cites Obamacare

Citing Obamacare, the United Parcel Service plans to remove 15,000 spouses from its health care plan because they are eligible for coverage elsewhere.

Rising medical costs, “combined with the costs associated with the Affordable Care Act, have made it increasingly difficult to continue providing the same level of health care benefits to our employees at an affordable cost,” UPS said in a memo to employees, Kaiser Health News reported.

UPS expects the move will save about $60 million a year, company spokesman Andy McGowan said.

If you were to ask the postal worker how they feel about this they would probably not be happy. Their medicaul insurance premiums are lower than federal government employees and is a benefit they have had for a very long time. I don't think the postal worker is going to be very happy about this as the spouse will probably pay a lot more than the postal worker's family plan. Not very cost effective for the family!

I have no sympathy for these people. This is what happens when you idiots vote for Obama and Democrats over and over again. You get what you deserve. Get over yourselves.

This article is about UPS, a publicly traded company, not the United State Postal Service (USPS).

Lots of companies are doing this. A local manufacturing company in Salisbury just did this to their employees.
