Wow! Did you see all those fires?

I didn't either.

How many paid firemen does Salisbury have?

Anonymous said...

Ok look you firemen are on here every day commenting. Why not tell how paid firemen there are.

64 crossed trained personnel. Meaning that as ff/emt or ff/paramedic some days you are on the ambulance and some days you are the fire engine. We ride both, they are no just paid "firefighters".

If the mayor and council had any intelligence, they would put a stop to so many paid firefighters and use the money to hire more trained police officers for street patrols.

They don't need anymore police officers according to the press releases. I looked the other day and all that was listed was shop lifting arrests. Since crime seems to be down why hire more people they don't seem to need.

Cross trained. Ha Ha Ha! It's called job security. There is no need for paid firemen so the cross training doesn't mean crap. No one said anything about there being just paid firefighters. The need is for paramedics and not firefighters. The need is also for police officers.

I like how you said you "ride both." Meaning that is all you do is ride, joy ride that is. Thank you for clearing that up for us now get a real job.
