Latest Update - Grasonville Shooting

INCIDENT: ASSAULT with Intent to Murder
DATE / TIME: 08/29/2013 @ 2000 Hours
LOCATION: 400 Block of Grasonville Cemetery Road
VICTIMS: JAMEEL JOHNSON (31) of Grasonville
DERRICK PARKER (24) of Grasonville
BRIAN L. TAYLOR (27) of Stevensville

SUSPECT: UNKNOWN MALE (NFD)

NARRATIVE: A small group of individuals were in front of an abandoned trailer in the 400 Block of Grasonville Cemetery Road with a barbecue grill. An unknown male approached on foot and fired several rounds from a shotgun striking three of the individuals.

The three victims were first treated at Queen Anne’s Emergency Room a short distance away from the scene. Two of the victims were then flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with the third being transported there later by ambulance. All three victims are males in mid-20’s to early 30’s and have non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives assisted by MSP Aviation, Crime Scene techs and K9’s remained on the scene for several hours working the scene and attempting to develop a suspect. At this time there is no suspect description. 

This morning police presence has been increased in the Grasonville area and a School Resource Deputy has been assigned to the nearby elementary school.
