Last week the Mayor and City Council toured Ocean City Beach Patrol headquarters in advance of last Tuesday’s presentation of the draft Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) 2014-2018. The CIP draft outlined a number of proposed infrastructure projects to move ahead in the next five years and a plan to build new downtown headquarters for the patrol was included.
Ocean City is currently finalizing the plan but city staff is asking the Mayor and Council to keep the needs of the OCBP in mind as the town is preparing to go to the bond market to fund the already approved Roland E. Powell Convention Center’s performing arts center and other CIP projects.

Looks like a maintenance issue to me. Has anyone there heard of painting?

Why don't they take some of the money used for employee morale such as the family day at Jolly Roger? Opps! Can't do that. They eliminated employee morale years ago so they could continue paying the salaries of the Millionaire Club.
Stop the spending. Stop increasing the debt. More parking meters and not going to fix the budget deficit.
The beach patrol is a 3 month operation, with 2 full time employees my God! Give them, or relocate them to a modest office the meetings can be held at many Town facities. Oh, did you notice they have their own dispatch, wheres the 10 million dollar dispatch center when you need them? Dare promised this along with his drunken sailor background. Fix or move them I agree, but stop the stupid spending and borrowing.
Add extra administration charges to each call request to cover the cost.
Painters work cheap. Just do it. No one has ever condemned a property because of a lack of paint.
