Changes Made at MD Prison

The Chief of Security at the North Branch Correctional Institution in Cumberland was removed and reassigned by the state department corrections Monday.

The state said they did not react to a threat made by inmates.

That's against state policy.

A spokesman for the state prison system said they've found a number of problems with how staff followed the notification policy and expect more disciplinary action.

Did they say anything about the $30,000,000.00 that they spent on the RO system and the new wastewater plant to handel the reject water? This so the prisoners can drink better water then the rest of the county.
