Regarding Chambers, I know very little about the politics of Salisbury, but why was she fired? In this day of lawsuits and political correctness, there had to have been a valid reason?

Not necessarily. That is why we are in this day of lawsuits.
From what I've read, the Flaming Grill was already shut down on 5/29 by the board of Health after several people got sick. Their health practices are horrible. Food's not kept to proper temperature.
