The City of Fruitland
The City of Fruitland Police Department has identified key enforcement zones across the municipality. These sites were selected and validated to be areas of high incidents of speeding and where the cameras would be of greatest effect. Fruitland’s Police Department strategy had always been to gain the greatest amount of effect by electing to enforce only a se-lected number of enforcement sites at any given time. Though not all of the below listed locations are being enforced currently, all qualify as can-didate’s as future enforcement.
Brown Street
Camden Avenue
East Main Street
Division Street
West Main Street
St. Luke’s Road

Good to see St. Lukes Road on the list. Although I am not really much in favor of the cameras, this road is like the Indy 500. I have seen three accidents, one car ones, in the past year. It would only be a matter of time before something serious happens.
It's a tax.

They should be banned like other cities and states have done.
The simple fact is that our elected officials passed a law. It doesn't matter what law, just don't break it and there won't be consequences. It's very simple. Unless you believe that you are above such laws of man. Then you need to be a police officer, so you can do what you want. Without consequences. See, it's simple.

Ah, so you just blindly follow any and every law? Not too bright there are ya?
I'm all for speeding tickets, but not from speed cameras run by FOR-profit companies.
Don' worry the Council doesn't speed! Nina Lane people are exempt from the camera tickets!

Based on the guys last two statements, I believe he was being sarcastic. At least I hope so.
Speed Bumps work better. Oh that's right Cash register bells don't play with speed bumps.
You can thank Richard Tull, Ted Lokey, Gloria Ortiz, Raymond Carey and Greg Olinde for passing this legislation several years ago. What is the facination withNina Lane? I realize that 2 council members live in that subdivision, but that line is getting worn out.
speed bumps are for parking lots. tell me one public street in the entire county with speed "humps", as they are actually called.
I thought the justification behind this camera was "school safety?"
