Maryland Tally 4 Heat-Related Deaths This Summer

Maryland health officials say there have now been four heat-related deaths in the state this summer.

This week's report on heat-related illnesses in the state shows the addition of three deaths. The new report lists the death of a Wicomico County woman 65 or older, a Baltimore County man 65 or older and a Baltimore County girl.

Baltimore County police say 16-month-old Sabriya Towels died last week after she was left in a vehicle for several hours. The office of the Medical Examiner ruled that the cause of death was hyperthermia.

I sure am glad no one used to die from heat....what a miserable, recent, global warming, occurance.
