Kirk Cameron, former star of "Growing Pains" and devout Christian, now knows what it feels like to be persecuted. Cameron claims Facebook and Youtube had censored the trailer for his new movie, "Unstoppable," but his social media campaign eventually paid off.
Cameron took to his Facebook page on Thursday, writing that both Facebook and Youtube flagged the trailer as "abusive, unsafe and spammy" (Facebook) and "spam, scam and deceptive" (YouTube). He couldn't upload the trailer to Youtube nor post links to its official website on his Facebook page.
Cameron was baffled by Facebook's decision, writing: "This is my most personal film about faith, hope, and love, and about why God allows bad things to happen to good people. What is 'abusive' or 'unsafe' about that?!"

I admire Kirk Cameron for his faith and refusal to deny Christ so he can be more acceptable to Hollywood.
A man and his faith. Nothing else matters.
*sigh*
Yet again, more misinformation misconstrued to perpetuate the false meme of "Christian Persecution", and draw attention to a money making venture for Cameron.
You Tube has a flagging system that allows users, usually trolls, to flag videos. Once the video is flagged enough, or a DMCA claim is made, the video is automatically removed. You Tube cannot possibly police all the videos uploaded, the number of videos is too many. If a video is flagged and taken down, there can be an appeal made to You Tube, it will be reviewed and re-instated. Which is exactly what happened, unlike what Cameron or this article asserts, there was NO systematic censoring or persecution of Cameron or Christians whatsoever.
This exact same thing has happened to Atheist and Muslim video makers, and I don't see anyone screaming about "atheist persecution" , etc. In fact, I find it to be a bit dishonest that this article does not mention this fact, nor did it explain the flagging process.
In my opinion, this article is clearly a dishonest ploy to further the false persecution meme, and to draw attention to Cameron and his money making ventures.

Spot on, those who cry persecution truly do not understand the meaning of the word.
Cameron is making a new career out of playing victim.
I pray for you atheist. may one day you find God within.
@ 12:50
Really? You are honestly going to pray? With a kind and genuine heart?
hmm... I don't think so. I think your intent with that comment is a cleverly disguised passive aggressive attack at non believers when all else fails... a way for you to fell as if "you win".
Think on this: If God has a plan, and he also knows everything...then he knows what is going to happen a million years before it's ever going to happen. If this is true, what are the odds your prayer is going to have any effect on anything? That it's going to cause him to act in a way that is contrary to his plan, or alter his/her omniscience in any way? Logically, the answer is no.
Tell you what, instead of praying, why don't you actually DO something that produces TANGIBLE results. Instead of praying for me, why don't you donate some time at a children's cancer ward... and witness the glory of your dieties plan.
To 6:53 - I am sure that 12:50.
A BIG problem in this world is it populated with too many ignorant haters such as yourself whose main purpose is to create conflict instead of PEACE.
6:53 Glad to see some common sense on here. If everyone just sat around praying nothing would get done.
@7:28 And your wonderful attitude is helping?
