I know I will get ripped for this. Every weekend when I am out in the country fishing or trying to enjoy a little peace and tranquility there are motorcycles coming by every few minutes with extremely loud tailpipes. I know their out enjoying the nice countryside also but the noise is just unbearable at times. I am not knocking motorcyclist here just their loud tailpipes. How can you enjoy the ride when the sound is so loud?
I have a friend who would agree with that statement and his life is empty except for his motorcycle. He acts like he likes that, but I think he is really sad and lonely. Motorcycles can only take you so far-if you know what I mean.
Airplanes, single engine, are better! But not by much!
Oh, and the loud tailpipes; well a lot of that is self defense. Cars don't see you, so sometimes the loud pipes get their attention. We don't like them either, but when it comes to the wreck, well, it doesn't matter who had the right of way, the biker always gets the short end of the stick. I'd rather listen to them than lay in a hospital bed. Or, worse, a casket. And, they do point aft, leaving most of the sound out of the biker's ears!
Nothing better then the love for the cycle. A wife will cheat on you but not your bike.
