Today’s Report Shows that Marylanders Will Still Pay More for Insurance
WASHINGTON, D.C. – This afternoon, the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) released final rates for individual health insurance plans under the Obamacare exchange. Today’s announcement comes after news in April that Maryland’s largest non-profit health insurer CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield proposed that they would have to raise rates for individuals an average of 25% – and up to 150% for young people – because of Obamacare. Despite the MIA approving “premiums at levels as much as 33 percent below what had been requested,” Marylanders healthcare premiums will still go up under the law.
“Today’s announcement about health insurance premiums demonstrates that Obamacare will in fact lead Marylanders to pay more for their healthcare,” said Harris. “It is hardly welcome news for young Marylanders who are already struggling in this economy to say their health insurance will still go up under Obamacare, but not as much. Despite promises by President Obama and others that this law would lead to lower premiums, the exact opposite is turning out to be true – Marylanders will be paying more.”

Of course the opposite was true Mr. Harris. Obamacare was written by the insurance companies. Anything the government does mysteriously costs more than the private sector. Same ole same ole. There is a major disconnect in Washington Devil's Combine from reality and serving the people and not themselves!
The insurance companies for years have been claiming the premiums were high due to the uninsured driving up the cost of overall healthcare. What they are claiming now means they were lying then, or does it mean they are lying now. Yes on both counts.
Under obamacare everyone will end up paying the same.
It used to be where healthy young people could choose a plan with a higher deductible and lower premiums but not anymore. So much for personal choice.
Anyone who has ever believed a word out of the lying sleazeball obama's mouth is a fool.

And yet the MSM will not even cover whereby the Congress tried to exempt themselves from Obamacare - so that they won't be effected by any of this. That's right - your elected officials have their own set of rules whereby they evoke standards that are unacceptable to them - yet they impose Obamacare on ordinary citizens.

communist/fascist (fill in he blank what your personal belief of about what Obama really is)"leaders" do is to take over health care. Once they have that, they control everything. Whatever you do--whatever you eat, drink, activities, behaviors--all impact your health, and therefore can/should be regulated by your "benevolent" leader. Look at the published list of how to turn a country communist--you will be shocked at how many are already in place here...any wonder why multiple communist groups endorsed Obama?
