When federal agents raided multiple 7-Eleven convenience stores two weeks ago, they exposed one of America’s dirty secrets – slavery is alive and well in modern America. ICE COME TO SALISBURY, PLEASE.
No reason to go to a 7-11 anymore...
Now, how about Chinese restaurants where young Chinese employees are only around for six months or a year? Are they employed on a rotation basis with other Chinese restaurants? Are the restaurants somehow connected, or do they use a slave rental or sales agent? Are there other marketing possibilities for the "employees" once they get older? Is there a Chinese Restaurant Slave Underground? Do they have a website?
Or do they just have temporary work visas to save and send some cash home to a pitifully poor family at home?
