TUTTI FRUTTI BEWARE!!!

Let me tell you about what happened tonight when my family visited Tutti Frutti in Salisbury. We have visited this local yogurt shop at least once a week and tonight was my LAST visit. I got the coconut flavored yogurt, which is one of my favorites and added fresh fruit only to it. We PAID and out we went. When I tasted it, it tasted sour. So, I went back in and pulled the cashier to the side and advised her that the fruit was "bad" and she would NOT ALLOW me to replace my yogurt. I handed her my yogurt with toppings and told her I couldn't eat it because from what I could tell the kiwi had gone bad. (Sometimes it looks fine . . . but can still be bad) I explained to her that I just wanted to replace my yogurt without any toppings. She said I would HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER ONE!! I had all ready paid and gave her back my original cup and now I have NOTHING!! She said, "I will have to call my supervisor Scott". I said ok and waited. She returned and told me that she can't refund my money, nor could I replace my yogurt. But that Scott would have to CALL ME TOMORROW OVER A STINKIN CUP OF YOGURT. Are you kidding me????? This is insane!!!!! No customer service . . . this business is all about the all mighty dollar. Beware before you go! Don't eat the kiwi!!!!!

Thanks
"That Mom"

Where is this place located? I have never heard of it! Sorry about your bad experience....

A successful bussiness MUST give excellent customer service. This manager was wrong!! He lost at the very least an entire family over a cup of yogurt????????????? Wow! We have been there a couple times and it has been very good but I can tell you word of mouth is the best advertisement and this incident is not good for business. If they keep this up they will have no business.

10:52 is that you Scott???

Seems like a word to the health department might be in order before someone gets sick?

He was probably driving drunk when she called him and he was to focused on the road to use his common sense!

It's in Seagull Sq which is owned by SU. Go figure, bad service. SU will leave a bad taste in your mouth in every way!

Get over it , stop whining , always looking for a free ride.
You people make me puke.

Always go to tcby. Its way better and way cheaper.

12:51 The first floor retail space of Seagull Square is rented to businesses. Yes, SU owns the land and building but what do they have to do with an unqualified yogurt shop manager? LOVE the leaps you all will take just for a cheap shot (with no credibility)

Sounds like a poorly run business to me. A manager should be on site at all times while an establishment is open to handle customer problems and to make "executive decisions."

Never in 20 years have I experienced bad service at TCBY. Sounds like tutti freakin frutti needs to get their crap together!!!

poor customer service will kill a business. not too smart.

go to tcby and if you want true homemade ice cream check out the new bakery in the twilley shopping center. they carry Chesapeake farms (locally owned and operated dairy) ice crèam. a little pricy be excellent...

OMG, I cannot believe the comments made by 10:52 AM and 1:13 PM. No way would I go here now, just no way. Not customer friendly at all apparently.

You left the store....Sucks to be you. Go elsewhere.....its a cup of yogurt for crying out loud.

I've been there at least a dozen times and every time was a very awesome experience. Scott and Danielle run a very clean operation and I will continue to enjoy their fine establishments.

yeah, what of it?

At most franchises the manager works in the morning on till early afternoon. If it is that important go back during the day and talk to him. If she really called him, he will know your complaint. For the price you payed it will be no great loss to them. You know most managers will cater to customers.

1st - Been there several times since they opened. Never once had a bad experience. Sounds like this poor lady was the exception to the norm there.

2nd - Let's face it, we have raised an entire generation that looks for everything to be given to them and they feel like they don't have to work for a single thing. From time to time, these kids actually do make it into the workplace. THese are the same kids who will graduate from High School or College and expect a $70K/year job but won't do any work.

3rd - Bad customer service on the Eastern Shore? Really? Not here! Never in Salisbury where everyone respects each other and are always friendly.

I am sure the author of this article is only telling her side. I have been to Tutti Frutti and have always had excellent service.

IMO as a local, as far as tutti fruitti goes, I can take it or leave it. But after reading this customers experience, its left a bad taste in my mouth. Not worth the price of possibly getting sick with food poisoning, missing time from work, spending money on meds etc. It's clear that customer service isn't important to the management of this place, SMH.

Scott is a terrible manager.

I think it might be the alcohol that makes you puke.

How hard is to just replace a cup of yogurt and avoid all this nonsense and idiotic comments?

I can't wait to hear the other side of the story. There is definitely more here than just a bad cup of yogurt.

Not exactly, right now it is owned by Blair Rinnier.

I've been there with my kids after a night of skating. It is over priced and the amount of kids touching everything and coughing and sneezing on the toppings is a lawsuit waiting to happen due to an illness transmitted by an unhealthy establishment. It was very dirty that evening and the employees looked like untrained high school kids working their first job with no supervision.

You people should know not to get any topping on from a yogurt or ice cream store since their are flies flying around as well as you don't know how long or who touched it before.
