Cambridge, MD -- Thinking about adding a new dog to your family? Baywater Animal Rescue is excited to announce an adoption promotion during the month of June - Dogs For Dads. Adoption fees will be waived for any Dad adopting a large dog. Not a Dad? No worries, you will receive a reduced adoption fee of $50 for any large dog. Many of the dogs are already house-trained and every dog is screened for heartworms, spayed or neutered, and vaccinated. “There are so many awesome dogs in the shelter right now in need of homes, and this is a great opportunity to adopt a shelter pet,” states Suzette Stitely, Executive Director of the rescue. “Our staff does an excellent job of learning each dogs‘ temperament so we can suggest the perfect companion for your family.” Adoption hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays 1-7 pm, Wednesdays & Fridays 1-5 pm and Saturdays 11am-4pm.
