THIS PUBLIC HEARING WILL PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO COMMENT ON THE MAYOR’S PROPOSED FY14 BUDGET WHICH MAY BE VIEWED ON THE CITY WEBSITE AT THE LINK BELOW.

FY13 General Fund to appropriate funds received from the Speed Camera
Program for the purchase ofa high intensity forensic light source and viewing
glasses for criminal investigations and ihe purchase ofa K-9 heat
alarm temperature sensor and door opener
i skimmed through the budget and i didn't see any funds allocated for half price milkshakes after 8 PM at sonic in the brand new ford explorer SFD chief vehicle. maybe i missed it
Funds derived from the use of speed cameras may be used for public safety....these are items used by a department that provides for public safety. Not sure what is so hard to understand about it.
Spend the funds on toys why not fix the streets they are a public hazzard
Road maintenance does not qualify as public safety...don't like it, talk to the state. Public safety is law enforcement activities. That would be like using money earmarked for education to fix roads.
