WASHINGTON/CANBERRA (Reuters) - Chinese hackers have gained access to designs of more than two dozen major U.S. weapons systems, a U.S. report said on Monday, as Australian media said Chinese hackers had stolen the blueprints for Australia's new spy headquarters.
Citing a report prepared for the Defense Department by the Defense Science Board, the Washington Post said the compromised U.S. designs included those for combat aircraft and ships, as well as missile defenses vital for Europe, Asia and the Gulf.
Among the weapons listed in the report were the advanced Patriot missile system, the Navy's Aegis ballistic missile defense systems, the F/A-18 fighter jet, the V-22 Osprey, the Black Hawk helicopter and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

Hacked? Right, the way this administration is going, we probably gave it to them, or bartered on our debt.
Pathetic that this can happen in an age where the US has elite hackers, and should be able to at least secure our defense assets.
Don't place computers with this type of information on the internet.
Our government is working with 20 to 30 year old computers that are the most hackable in the world. They can't even download and use up to date antivirus software. They are still running win 98 or less. No wonder we get hacked.
Telling the gov to change that, they will tell you this is the reason we need to give the gov control of the internet.
Get it yet, Dummies?
or we can attack someone and say the chinese did it because they hacked the systems.
Just one more problem with having everything on a computer. It's way more difficult to physically steal these blueprints... Just ask Sandy berger.
