County Executive David Craig Gets It. Other County Executives Don't.

Joe,

County Executive David Craig appreciates the essential work of Maryland's blogs.  As the mainstream media dismisses, filters or slants coverage of political and policy issues on a regular basis, it is absolutely essential that elected officials engage with you.  The media business is undergoing profound change and nobody understands that better than you.

To that end, Friends of David R. Craig has successfully reached out to blogs in the recent past.  However, the new media landscape is constantly evolving and it's time to renew and sustain our efforts.

An e-mail with the subject line "Exclusive Event for Maryland Political Bloggers" was disseminated May 21.  We want to ensure all of our top bloggers know about this event.

When: June 4 at 5:00 P.M.
Where: Annapolis
100 West Street

If attendance is not possible we would like to make alternative arrangements. We will be contacting blogs individually in the days ahead or you can reach the press contacts above as important announcements are forthcoming this week.  Our goal is to make County Executive Craig as accessible as possible to our state's leading blogs.   Thank you for the work you do - you are making Maryland work for us.
