President Obama will write a $20,000 check to the U.S. Treasury this year in a sign of solidarity with federal workers who face furloughs due to the sequester. But he will keep going on family vacations, including his annual trip to Hawaii which costs taxpayers $4 million per trip.
“The president has decided that to share in the sacrifice being made by public servants across the federal government that are affected by the sequester, he will contribute a portion of his salary back to the Treasury,” a White House aide told ABC News.

What a guy! That'll be a tax deduction for him as well.
What a complete jerk. Dumber than a fishing worm.
Give the worms some credit!
I guess he considers this "fair"?
Democrats are nincompoops for voting this guy into office the first time, now they are complete idiots for the second time.
IF some of Congress are giving 20% of their salary back, and that is a BIG IF, Obammie should be setting more of an example with at least 40% to 50%, especially with the monthly vacations taken by the Obammie family. That would be the VERY least he should do!!
such sacrifice...what a joke
