BALTIMORE —The latest jobs report signals that Maryland is off to a good start this year.
According to the U.S. Labor Department, the state added 6,700 jobs in the month of January, but not enough to put a dent in Maryland's unemployment rate. It is holding steady at 6.7 percent.
WBAL-TV 11 News received mixed messages Monday during a jobs fair near the airport.
Those hiring see Marylands' economy as a job seekers market, while the unemployed wonder where those jobs are.

why aren't they reporting on the number of jobs lost??? hellooooo
I was thinking the same thing, 1211! I think it's because 6700 new part time jobs replaced 3350 full time jobs to dodge Obamacare. There are no numbers put out there b the State that are to be believed in any way whatsoever. Especially the unemployment numbers, which are still over 25%.
