Armed with confidential memos to Hillary Clinton that were stolen from the e-mail account of a former White House aide, a hacker has distributed some of the documents to a wide array of congressional aides, political figures, and journalists worldwide.
In a series of weekend e-mail blasts, the hacker known as “Guccifer” disseminated four recent memos to Clinton from Sidney Blumenthal, a longtime confidant of the former Secretary of State.
The 64-year-old Blumenthal, who worked as a senior White House adviser to President Bill Clinton, had his AOL e-mail account hacked last week by “Guccifer,” who has conducted similar illegal assaults against a growing list of public figures, including Colin Powell, relatives and friends of the Bush family, and a top United Nations official.

This is the exact same thing the NSA does in "Fusion centers" across the country.
When a citizen does it, they are a criminal. When the Government does it, it is legal. Morally as corrupt as the citizen yet considered necessary.
BULL CHIPS.
5:56: This is not the NSA I worked with. NSA simply reports. Other people decide how they will use the information.
Sorry, 5:56. NSA COLLECTS (not merely the innocuous "reports") information and has a history of violating state and federal laws (they tapped the PUBLIC phones in Grand Central Staion for years -- illegally -- and "reported" the conversations to the FBI, CIA, and the military). That is a FACT. Even when the NSA KNEW what they were doing was outrageously illegal, they STILL did it. And the public phone tapping was just ONE of NUMEROUS illegal activities the NSA did and still does. Don't act like they are a bunch of angels passing around some "reports". "Other people decide how they will use the information" sounds a LOT like "I killed a million Jews because I was just following orders." Disengenuous at best. At BEST.
I hope Guccifer continues and is never stopped. This is precisely the type of expose` our criminal gov't deserves.
