Nominations are being accepted for the 2013 Outstanding Public Health Leader award. This award is presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the public health of the citizens of Wicomico County. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Salisbury University.
Nominations can be submitted online on the Wicomico County Health Department website (http://www.wicomicohealth.org/index.asp?pageId=204) or call (410) 334 – 3480 to obtain nomination forms. All nominations are due by Monday, March 18, 2013. Late submissions cannot be accepted.

Let's start with the unhealthy persons employed at our Health Dept. who smoke or are severely over weight. What great healthy outstanding citizens & role models they are and they work at OUR Health Dept?!?! Aught to be lucky to have a job because if I were their Director they would've never been hired! Don't they hold classes on their premises for addicts?
Posting before this has to "go through the Mayor's office" and Jim Ireton is the only nominee.
