Immediately following the aired interview my phone rang and it was my 12 year old Grandson. He said, "Grandpa, how come they showed more of Jim Ireton in the interview than they did you"? He went on to say, "Mayor Ireton has had four years to get his stuff done, why didn't he get it done"?
So I ask all of you, are you smarter than this 12 year old? View video below.
By the way, notice how Ireton has changed his tune and is now only talking about riverfront parking lots. His proposal includes a 500 affordable housing unit project, which includes ALL of the City owned parking lots.

WBOC wants Ireton back in there. I noticed that too. You made your announcement and the portion I saw showed Ireton admitting he has been trying to get his plan through for the last two years. The first thing I thought was that Ireton has failed to do his job. Funny how they didn't air that part on line.
Jim had his day two years ago when he announced his plan that failed. He's a broken record. I really enjoyed your plan and could tell a lot of work went into it. I wouldn't sweat it Joe, you have this election in the bag.

That's the sad thing this Ireton has not done anything for Salisbury. The downtown could be a beautiful place if you get that scumbag out of office.

I forgot all about this current waste of space.
The Mayor Must be fuming about this interview with other Businessmen downtown,other than Joe, Watch out Jim bob will be on a Rampage tonight at your local bar.
I understand that the numbers show that crime is down in Salisbury. I would have no problem visiting downtown during the day but would not at night. I won't go to Brew River at night either. Just pull up the stats on police calls at Brew River. Those calls are unbelievable compared to other local bars. They are not published as much because of local politics.

There is a law that requires equal time for candidates. Look into having WBOC held accountable for their failure to follow it.

It's like picking on the fat kid Joe, as you say you are this driven and visionary mayoral candidate, but you are picking a fight with local reporters that are just finding out what their 401K does.
