GOOD LORD, and the firefighters want to sleep more, and pick their own Captains, get a life! Disgusting, Salisbury Fire Dept.is in the slums in comparison, and they work!
Ocean City is out of control, and they have two unions that just got additional raises! Watch the votes, the new majority will support spending MORE on employees, and with Dennis "give um a raise", it's a done deal! Now, just where is the money coming from, oh, worry about that later.
Unbelievable! By percentage, the average employee makes 25-30% more than other local jurisdictions, and they only work a third of the year. Do a search and find out what a Maryland State Trooper makes, with 20 years of service, then compare to an OCPD officer. Check the whores at city hall, and compare to Worcester County or Salisbury. This is highway robbery! Joe if you don't win as SBY Mayor, please move and run here!
It's something that this comes after OC came just about demanding more money from the county. If you all would have SAVED the money from the windfall that came when real estate was hot you wouldn't be coming up short! It's not rocket science! Now the voters voted in the same group who know nothing other than to spend. Some call them the silly council-more like the moronic council-Ashley and Pillas excluded as they actually have the brains to understand the concept of money doesn't grow on trees.
