Debbie Campbell Has Sealed Her Spot In The District 2 General Election

Absentee Ballots are in and while 60 remain uncounted for District 2, Debbie Campbell has sealed her second place finish with around 90 additional votes over Jack Heath and only 60 left to count.

GET THIS, in District 1, Shanie now has 69 votes all together and are you ready, Cynthia Polk now has 52 votes and April Jackson has 51 votes. They are still only ONE vote apart.

We need to get behind Debbie. Look at her accomplishments. While (I think maybe 2 years' budgets did) Ireton claims not raising our taxes as one of his accomplishments, the truth is that his budget included a big increase. This year in particular, it was Debbie's leadership on budgetary issues that discovered lots of money that the administration wasn't showing in the revenues that kept us from getting socked. She spearheaded the adjustment to police salaries so that we won't keep losing our experienced officers, and is bringing economic development to the failed condo project site on Fitzwater without subsidies form the city. We need to send contributions, waive signs, walk for her and more. If we lose her seat to her opponent who is backed by Barrie Tilghman, Mike Dunn and the slum lords shame on us! We fought so hard to get them out, let's not let them take Salisbury from us so easily. Jake will be the third vote they need along with Mitchell and Shields.

We need Debbie and she needs our support. Debbie I know you read this so please work hard to get a new team together to walk the streets for you to get the message out. I know you can't do it alone, but you also need to show up at as many doors and events as you can. Thank you for stepping up to the plate.

How many more did Day pick up?

Why should Salisbury be any different. Our country is run by a bunch of thugs and incompetents. We are going downhill fast. Our state is following Obamas lead as OMalley has his nose up Obama butt. Liars and stupid seems to be the way of our politicians today.

Speaking of the City Council today is Feb. 28,2013. This was the date set forth by the Salisbury City Council as the last day for extending the acting fire chief status for Mr. Hoppes. Has Mayor Ireton submitted another name to the City Council as directed? What happens now?

I would love to see Cynthia Polk and April Jackson get around 30 votes each.

I'm glad to hear Debbie Campbell made it through. Jake Day, Laura Mitchell, Jim Ireton, Mike Dunn and the rest of them have been badmouthing her all over town. Jake Day is going to restore pride to the council? About like Laura Mitchell restored civility. She rivals Mike Dunn in the "anything but civil" department.

I will have you know that the Salisbury Fire Department has the best leadership now than it has ever had. It is also imperative that the SFD has the best equipment possible at any expense. I will do my best to ensure the citizens get the best equipment and best stations available. I get to make that decision.

Regardless of which runs against Shanie, she's at the end of the line!
