Gun Violence is Not a Republican Problem, It’s a Democratic Problem

Forget Wal-Mart and skip your local gun show. The murderers of tomorrow will not be found wearing orange vests at your local sporting goods store. They won’t have NRA memberships or trophies on their walls.

You won’t find them in America. Look for them in Obamerica.

67% of firearm murders took place in the country’s 50 largest metro areas. The 62 cities in those metro areas have a firearm murder rate of 9.7, more than twice the national average. Among teenagers the firearm murder rate is 14.6 or almost three times the national average.

And I am sure these cities, like NYC, have the toughest gun laws!

Its an american problem period. We live in one society not two. We have dead children in America. It's all of our problem, like it or not. This idiotic article is a microcosm of the macrocosm. Elected officials are elected to serve all their constituants not just those who voted for them.

Where do the folks with the illegal guns get them? Can someone please give me a knowledgeable, nonpolitical answer?

Elected officals cannot legislate morality and civility (they give it a good try, though). Only liberal and brainwashed ninnies think POLITICIANS can solve the problem of violence. And its not by neutering the minds of American citizens....

when someone puts 'fact' into their comment I always get suspicious of what they have said.

If what they say is indeed fact, they should not have to emphasize it.

AND, usually when they do emphasize it as fact, it turns out to be the opposite of that.

One of the ways is someone buys guns but never registers them. Then he sells them or they are stolen.

5:03, Sorry to inform you but we live in 2 societies. One grasps and exhibits the custom of responsibilty the other wants to take none.
The latter has high moral standards the other no morals or an anything goes as long as it suits ME mentality.
Society is fractured.
