Body Found In Home Of Ambush Killer Of Firemen

The ex-con who lured two firefighters to their deaths in a blaze of gunfire left a rambling typewritten note saying he wanted to burn down the neighborhood and "do what I like doing best, killing people," police said Tuesday as they recovered burned human remains believed to be the gunman's missing sister.
Police Chief Gerald Pickering said 62-year-old William Spengler, who served 17 years in prison for the 1980 hammer slaying of his grandmother, armed himself with a revolver, a shotgun and a military-style rifle before he set his house afire to lure first responders into a death trap before dawn on Christmas Eve.
"He was equipped to go to war, kill innocent people," Pickering said.
The rifle he had was a military-style .223-caliber semiautomatic Bushmaster rifle with flash suppression, the same make and caliber weapon used in the elementary school massacre in Newtown, Conn., Pickering said.

Well, let's blame the gun first, and ignore the fact that he killed his own grandmother with a hammer and after serving 17 years for that, was sent to live with sister who he hated and his mother, who recently died. All the while collecting guns he was not legally allowed to have whether or not Mom and sis knew and condoned. Mom died and left no reason not to go off!
As a prime candidate to a full time mental facility, of which there are none anymore, he acted out in the environment he was in. Among us.

And everyone is "shocked".

Why on earth is anyone "shocked"?

He just did what he was going to do anyway whether anyone cared or not,
Can our society get anymore stupid, or is there a payscale for that?

11:48 they are trying to blame it on his family who didn't want to have to "go through a trial" so it was pled down to manslaughter which explains the 17 yrs.
It's a sorry excuse because the prosecutors/courts work for the State which includes all residents and not just the family and in doing their job properly they do what's best for society and not any one person or persons or you get the heck out and let someone with some morals and courage do it.
This had got to be a first-manslaughter for beating an old defenseless woman to death w/a hammer.
