White House Christmas Tree Arrives

First lady Michelle Obama, her daughters Sasha and Malia, and first dog Bo welcomed the White House Christmas tree on Friday morning.

The 19-foot Fraser Fir from North Carolina arrived in a carriage drawn by two Clydesdale horses, as the Marine Band played "Oh, Christmas Tree."

The tree was chosen in early October by the National Christmas Tree Association and harvested last week from Peak Farms in Jefferson, N.C. It will be displayed in the Blue Room, located on the first floor of the White House and typically used for receiving and greeting guests.

What happened to bringing the tree home tied to the top of your car. And the Marine Band played? How much did the horse drawn carriage, Clydesdale's no less, and the band cost us? I bet my 7 foot tree when decorated looks a lot better. And I will play Christmas songs on the radio! My living room is blue and it is not a receving room for guests, it a place for family and friends to sit down and be REAL people!

4:12,

And yet you'd be a roiling volcano of righteous outrage if the Obamas DIDN'T follow this long-standing tradition. So now they can't even dress the White House for Christmas without you people losing your minds? You're unhinged.

"The tree was chosen in early October by the National Christmas Tree Association "

Someone must stop this obviously socialist hate group from spreading their ruinous hate any further! Who do they think they are, decorating the White House???

They call it a holiday tree.

That's what I did, too. It's just dad-blamed tradition as far as we're concerned! The wife and I have been doing it for years.
