THREE ARRESTED FOR SALISBURY MURDER
(SALISBURY, MD) – Maryland state troopers from special fugitive and gang enforcement teams today arrested three people who are charged with the murder of one man and attempted murder of another during an apparent robbery in Wicomico County late Sunday night.
The three arrested are identified as Deyamah O. Fisher, 19, whose last known address was in the 800-block of East Church Street, Salisbury, Tevin D. Blake, 20, of the 900-block of Lake Street, Salisbury, and Gerard Williams Jr., 17, whose last known address was in the 400-block of Camden Avenue, Salisbury. After consultation with the Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office, Maryland State Police Homicide Unit investigators applied for and obtained warrants charging each suspect with first degree murder, second degree murder, armed robbery, first degree assault, second degree assault, use of a handgun during the commission of a felony, wearing/carrying a handgun, attempted first degree murder, attempted second degree murder, attempted armed robbery, attempted first degree assault and attempted second degree assault.
All three suspects were arrested early this morning after being located by the Maryland State Police State Apprehension Team, the Gang Enforcement Unit, who were assisted by Salisbury Police Department officers. Fisher and Blake were arrested at separate apartments in the Berlin area and Williams was arrested near Salisbury.
The suspects will be transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center central booking unit for processing. They are expected to have an initial appearance before a court commissioner later today.
The deceased victim is identified as Andreas Aquiler, 23, of the 1000-block of Margaret Street, Salisbury, Md. An autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore determined Aquiler’s cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death was homicide.
The wounded victim is identified as Edgar Alvardo, 16, of Salisbury, Md. He remains hospitalized.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m. on October 28, 2012, officers from the Salisbury Police Department responded to the 1000-block of Margaret Street for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Aquiler and Alvardo lying wounded on or near the front porch of the home.
The preliminary investigation indicates the victims were on their front porch when a group of six to eight African American males were walking down the street. Four of those males separated from the group and walked toward the victims. Two of those four males approached the victims and demanded money. Both of those suspects were armed. The shootings occurred during the robbery.
The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit, with the assistance of the Salisbury Police Department, Wicomico Bureau of Investigation, the Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office, the State Police Gang Enforcement Unit and the State Police State Apprehension Team, has continued the investigation around the clock since initially requested by Chief Barbara Duncan. Investigators conducted dozens of interviews, reviewed evidence, obtained and served search warrants, and used other investigative techniques to move the investigation forward.
During the investigation, investigators from the Maryland State Police and the Salisbury Police Department developed probable cause to obtain charges for the suspects. They also recovered two firearms that may have been at the scene of the shootings. The firearms will be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division laboratory for testing.
The investigation into the murder is continuing and additional arrests are possible. Salisbury Police Department detectives are continuing a potentially related investigation into area robberies and home invasions that had been occurring in the area prior to the murder.

Way to go! Three more thugs off the streets. Thanks.
Great job by all police agencies but why is the Maryland State Police handling crimes that happen in the city of Salisbury?
Obviously because it is in Maryland.
They will be hero's in jail. They should have been shot during the arrest with shot guns at close range.
Good Job guys. Fast work. Giving credit where credit is due.
Glad to see this done as well.
Three thugs hardly constitute a GANG.
They were most likely brothers to the same mother and three different Babies Daddies
MSP is involved in all homicides. ESP on suspicion of gang involvement. But it was SPD implementing search and seizures. Great job SPD!
They should be dead already
Give credit where it is due. The SPD did a great job on this one.
Other agencies have been brought in on murders for a while now. Don't forget, THIS police chief developed relationships with other agencies under that Safe Streets program.
Three thugs hardly constitute a GANG.
