A man suspected in two bombings in Stafford County and one in Fredericksburg, Va., Tuesday morning was arrested Thursday in Montana.
Laurence Alan Stewart II, 25, is accused of explosions at the homes of an ex-girlfriend, a Stafford County Sheriff's deputy and another law enforcement official, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Sources told News4 that when police attemtped to stop Stewart, he threw two pipe bombs at them before leading them on a chase. Police arrested him in Belt, Mont., near Great Falls.
The pipe bombs thrown at police did explode, but there's no word of injuries.
