Authorities say four people have been shot and wounded during a Halloween party on the University of Southern California campus.
Capt. David Carlisle of the USC Department of Public Safety says two people were detained following the shooting shortly before midnight Wednesday.
Los Angeles police say the four victims were rushed to hospitals after the shooting at Tutor Campus Center. There was no immediate word on their conditions.

According to KNBC, Assistant Chief John Thomas of the USC Department of Public Safety says a dispute between 2 non-students led to the shooting.
Shortly after that, police declared the campus "shut down" and issued an alert urging students to remain indoors.
The Los Angeles Times reports that the violence occurred outside the party attended by about 100 people.
id waiger that the gun involved was not legal
instead of showing a picture of the gun (weapon of choice, could have been a knife, a bat, a broken bottle) you get the picture) show a picture of the people who chose to mame and kill. this, after all, was their choice. make them accountable, not the gun.

Would that make them any less shot? lol
The one that did the shooting was not a college student. He had no business there to begin with and prob would not have been allowed into the party, as they were checking id's.
You bet if gun was legal. I will bet on what race they are.
I bet we both win.
