Baywater Animal Rescue

Cambridge, MD--   Baywater Animal Rescue must raise $2000 for #GivingTuesday™ which is November 27th.  An anonymous donor will match all donations Baywater Animal Rescue receives for #GivingTuesday™up to $2000.  “With the $2000 matching gift, that’s $4000 we will use to save 40 animals from being abandoned on the streets of our community or being killed in another shelter,” said Suzette Stitely, Executive Director for the rescue.  “It’s an easy way for animal lovers to save a life and double their donation.”   

Baywater Animal Rescue’s efforts are part of a national campaign to increase awareness of charitable activities.  #GivingTuesday™ is an umbrella under which projects to support charitable giving at the start of the annual holiday season take place.  The idea is: we follow-up Thanksgiving with a day for deals; now we have a day for giving back.
