Incident: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
Date of Incident: 4 October 2012
Location: South Salisbury Blvd. at Carroll Street Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Tamara James, 33, Princess Anne, MD
Narrative: On 4 October 2012 at 2:14 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office
stopped a vehicle that the deputy observed travelling east on Carroll Street. The vehicle failed to stop for
a red signal at South Salisbury Blvd. Upon stopping the vehicle, the deputy detected a strong odor of
alcohol emanating from within the vehicle that was operated by Tamara James. Due to the suspicion that
James was under the influence of alcohol, the deputy administered sobriety testing which James
performed poorly on. The deputy subsequently placed James under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
The deputy transported James for processing, during which James did not provide a breath sample.
James was released upon the issuance of citations.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving person. Karma is a you-know-what, ain't it?

^^^^^^ truth ^^^^^^ No cadet caused more fights in visitation at WCDC than she did. No consistency in enforcement of the rules led to many a fight out there. So it seems she is inconsistent in following the laws outside the jail as well.
Joe, please make this front page news again to get the attention of rick politt and the jail admin to know that this needs to be addressed right away. all of us want to know why she wasn't processed? any other suspect of intoxication is held there until they are sober enough to see a commissioner. she doesn't even have a bond. this is favoritism. she still drives to work on suspended license in an uninsured vehicle with suspended registration on wicomico county property. what if she hits someone? This deputy needs to be suspended for not treating her like any other criminal. how can she be able to supervise inmates who have the same charges that she does? She should be suspended with pay until this is settled or until she runs out of leave. she should be ashamed to even show her face there. others in jail aren't provided the same luxury of being able to work until their court date. guards should be held to the same standards that the public are. does having a wannabe cop badge give her this privilege? it shouldn't. let's look at her prior charges that she was convicted of by pleading guilty. all of these are since she's been working there for over a decade. she lies to the police and to everyone all the time. never pays her bills or fines. the jail should know by now that she is a liability. if this was a 1st offense, then i would want her to have a 2nd chance, but this is not the case. people always show their true colors over time and this is shame on the jail if she fools them twice. I call for all concerned citizens of wicomico county to petition the county council to do what the administration of the jail will not, remove this liability before it's too late. thanks joe.

she was already on a restricted licence. to and from work only.
2 Officers were terminated within the last 3 years for the same thing.
this 15 day suspension she got makes it 25 days that she's been suspended so far this year. how much more can she get away with before she is finally given her walking papers?
Its sad how all of you Anonymous writers know her business all to well...you probley was her friend in the first place or the same one grinning and laughing in her face...talk about Karma..the same way you are judging her here will be the same way your judgment time is coming.... And since you knew so much why didn't you try to help but instead you wait for someone's downfall...Trust me everybody has a story to tell and you just don't know what's going on in people's personal life...
