A little-known section in the ObamaCare health reform law defines “full-time” work as averaging only 30 hours per week, a definition that will affect some employers who utilize part-time workers to trim the cost of complying with the ObamaCare rule that says businesses with 50 or more workers must provide health insurance or pay a fine.
“The term ‘full-time employee’ means, with respect to any month, an employee who is employed on average at least 30 hours of service per week,” section 1513 of the law reads. (Scroll down to section 4, paragraph A.)

It's bad enough when the best you can find is ~35 hrs/wk. Those couple of hours could be put to good use dealing with kids, etc. And at least it's close to getting 40 hours of pay.
But if 30 is full time, expect to work 24h at job one, and be forced to find job 2. And the flexibility of two jobs never seems to be better than just one.
If companies do lower hours to get under the 30 hour rule, they will have to employ more workers to make up the difference, or require current workers to work harder to make up the difference.
I really don't see that happening in the long run.
I have worked at a few jobs over the years that already considered 30 hours full time as far as qualifying you for insurance and other benefits. One was the Carousel Hotel in OC the other was the Dorchester Humane Society. Too many employers go out of their way to keep you right under full time so as not to have to provide you that benefit. You then don't get insurance through work can't afford insurance and make too much to get assistance. Talk about a donut hole.

Are people so blind that they can't see that this moron is trying to change everything our nation stands for?! We were created and developed by people who valued hard work, equality, religious freedom, honesty and national pride. So far he has promoted more money for less work, segregated the races with his political propaganda, denounced his own religion and defamed others, lied throughout his campaigns and time in office, and has pussified this once great nation.
Things are going to get really bad really soon if the idiots of this nation vote him back into office...
